Play quietly. Keep control of your account. Here is what Halvsies uses to run the game and its online features.
The game and the online account
The gameplay save lives on your device. Core play needs no interactive sign-in, but the online Economy can create an anonymous profile. That profile holds Coins, inventory, reward activity and purchase records online. Selected progression and gameplay proofs are also sent to the online Economy to verify eligible rewards.
Firebase Authentication manages sign-in. A connected provider can supply identifiers, email and, where supplied, a display name. Linking a provider helps protect access; a switch to another existing profile does not merge Coin balances. Device and cloud-backup behavior depends on the platform’s settings and app rules.
We can also supply test accounts for app review. Firebase processes a supplied test account’s email and password to authenticate it.
What is used, and why
- Account and sign-in information
- Account, installation and provider identifiers help authenticate you, protect access and keep the correct profile connected.
- Coins and purchases
- Balances, grants, spending, inventory, blade credits and store order/refund records deliver value, show activity and prevent duplicate delivery. Apple and Google handle payment-card entry.
- Reward information
- Selected progress, gameplay evidence and reward claims establish eligibility and verify results. Ad claims and allowances manage earned blade delivery.
- Security and operation
- App/device attestation, requests and security records help operate the service and prevent abuse.
- Ads and measurement
- Depending on your choices and permissions, providers process device/app information, IP-derived approximate location, identifiers, ad interactions, diagnostics and defined product or purchase events.
- Support requests
- We use the information you choose to send to investigate your request and respond. Do not send passwords, tokens or payment-card details.
Optional ads and attribution
Google AdMob manages optional rewarded videos, which may be supplied by Google or Unity Ads. A video may be offered when a broken blade can be replaced and an ad and allowance are available; it does not interrupt a cut or a running Path attempt. Master Blade owners are not shown these offers. The Economy records earned claims and manages delivery.
AppsFlyer and configured advertising partners measure acquisition using defined product and purchase events. Google’s User Messaging Platform supplies applicable privacy-choice forms. Advertising permission and attribution permission are separate; declining tracking does not change the shapes, scoring or free Daily.
On iOS, user-level AppsFlyer measurement requires App Tracking Transparency authorization and the applicable advertising-measurement consent. Optional advertising is governed separately by the applicable privacy choices. An ad may be unavailable under those choices; when available, its earned blade is not reduced for declining tracking.
Providers
Google Cloud and Firebase provide the Economy infrastructure, authentication and app attestation. Apple and Google Play provide payment and applicable sign-in or platform services. AdMob, Unity Ads and Unity’s Ad Quality component provide rewarded ads and ad-experience diagnostics. User Messaging Platform supplies privacy-choice forms; AppsFlyer and configured advertising partners process acquisition measurement. Cloudflare hosts this website and its configured web analytics.
These providers may process information outside your country. Their privacy information is available from Google, Apple, AppsFlyer, Unity and Cloudflare.
Your choices and requests
Use About → Privacy choices where the control is available. iOS tracking permission can also be changed under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android advertising-identifier controls are in system privacy settings.
You can request access, correction, export or deletion by writing to [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, opt out of targeted advertising or sharing, and complain to a data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already carried out.
We need to verify that the data belongs to you. A privacy support ID, when available, can help investigate an attribution request; it is not proof of ownership of a Halvsies Coin account. Do not turn on tracking just to obtain an identifier.
Delete your account
In the app, open About → Account & purchases → Delete online data. You can also request deletion here without reinstalling Halvsies.
Service deletion closes the online profile and removes access to its Coins and online inventory. It erases direct sign-in links, aliases, recovery material, installation claims, online blade state and detailed purchase-verification records. The app preserves local gameplay, blades and recognized legacy ownership. The retained records are explained below.
Firebase sign-in deletion and any Apple authorization release are separate steps. Fresh authentication may be needed; follow any remaining step shown in the app, or contact us for help. A completed service request does not by itself confirm that every provider has finished deleting its data.
Uninstalling does not itself delete online or provider-held records. Deleting a Halvsies profile does not delete your Apple/Google account or its store purchase history.
Retention and exceptions
After account deletion, we keep the following records without a fixed deletion date to reconcile purchases, verify delivered value and prevent duplicate rewards, fraud or re-creation of a deleted account:
- Coin balances and ledger history, inventory, acquisitions and reward records, including the gameplay evidence used to verify rewards.
- Recorded request responses and delivery events used to prevent repeated grants or purchases.
- Account identifiers, deletion records and markers for previously linked sign-ins and store orders. Some markers contain hashed identifiers; store-order markers can retain the original order identifier.
These records can remain linked to the deleted profile’s identifier; they are not all anonymous. They do not keep the deleted account available to use.
Firebase Authentication has a separate deletion process. Google states that, after deletion of a Firebase user is initiated, its other authentication data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days; logged authentication IP addresses are kept for a few weeks. That period starts with Firebase-user deletion, not with your email or the Halvsies service request. See Firebase’s retention information.
Backups, security logs, support correspondence and advertising or attribution providers are handled separately from the online-profile deletion. They may retain records after the profile closes and do not share one fixed deletion period. Contact us about a retained category or to request its deletion. We will explain any records kept and any provider action still needed when handling your request.
This website and children
The marketing site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and referrers without analytics cookies. The account-deletion page contains no analytics script and collects no form data; its email action opens your own email application.
Halvsies is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Halvsies, contact us so the request can be investigated.
